Style Guide: Layering

Alexandra Burton

Layering is my favorite way to add depth to my closet without adding a ton of clothes! My favorite layering pieces are unique in material or cut but basic enough to be versatile.

The Velvet & Lace cami is a great layering top! The velvet is an edgy pop that would looks great dressed up under a leather jacket or for a cozier look under a cardigan. The cami can be worn by itself and to really spice up the outfit, flip the top around and wear the lace v-cut in the front with a tank. Having pieces that can transition from day to night with a few simple changes is a must.

This bodysuit is another great example of a versatile layering piece. The bodysuit gives a clean tucked in look without all the hassle. I have paired this bodysuit with our high-waisted black denim and a cardigan for an easy put together outfit. It will be perfect with wide leg pants or shorts come summer!

Last but certainly not least this sheer wrap top adds a pop of print to any outfit!

The star print is just enough to make a statement but can be paired with that white bodysuit, a colored tank as shown in the picture, or a black long sleeve for colder days.

There are so many ways to change up your wardrobe with just a few pieces strategically added to flatter your existing clothes!
